Love gets worked over once again when the Lesbian/Gay Chorus of San Francisco presents its 5th annual anti-Valentine's Day Cabaret and Musical Extravaganza, "Love Bites, My Dog Bites, And My Pickup Truck Won't Start." The show will run two weeks in a row, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, February 7, 8 and 9, and February 14, 15 and 16 at 8 p.m., On Valentines Day, love gets a special kick in the pants with an "adults only" show! The shows will take place at the EXIT Theatre, 277 Taylor Street at Eddy in San Francisco.
The Lesbian/Gay Chorus of San Francisco is notorious for its irreverent and hilarious shows. Back by popular demand, this year's cabaret features a country theme...but all the heein' and hawin' can't deny the fact that love sucks. Romance is neither safe nor sacred in the hands of LGCSF. Under the direction of Stephanie Lynne Smith, "Love Bites" is a unique experience, where depravity and fun go hand in hand. All evenings feature a variety of fully staged and choreographed performances. The show was sold out in advance last year. Don't miss it this year!
The world's first mixed lesbian and gay chorus, LGCSF is dedicated to building and enriching the Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender (LGBT) community through song and a love of music. Since LGCSF's first concert 23 years ago at a local middle school, the Chorus has performed around the world, and hundreds of times in San Francisco. The Chorus has provided a forum for San Francisco's gay and lesbian music lovers to develop their talents, find good friends, and share their gifts with San Francisco's diverse communities. lgcsf.org
