World’s Oldest Queer Theatre Turns 30

Rhino Theatre Rhinoceros is currently celebrating its 30th Anniversary Season, and is kicking off the season with two exciting events.  The first is Theatre Rhinoceros: The First Thirty Years. It's a fun-filled revue-style show full of songs and scenes from plays that had their world premieres at Theatre Rhinoceros.  With great audience response and terrific critical praise, the show has extended an extra week. But hurry up and see it, because it must close October 21!

The second event is a one-night-only benefit gala at the fabulous Levende Lounge on Tuesday, October 16. With great food, a silent auction, entertainment from the likes of Acid Housewife, and visits from politicians like Mark Leno, Carole Migden, Bevan Dufty, Tom Ammiano, plus tributes from Mayor Gavin Newsom and Representative Nancy Pelosoi, it promises to be a night to remember.

Theatre Rhinoceros is the world's oldest continually producing theater company that produces shows on queer themes. Come celebrate our past achievements and help lay the groundwork for continuing our important work. Tickets to both of these events can be found at therhino.org
