Monthly Party Still Fresh After 6 Years
Fresh at Ruby Skye celebrates with DJ Manny Lehman

San Francisco's hottest monthly T-dance for men and those that love them, hosted at the historic downtown San Francisco theatre Ruby Skye, is turning six. To help celebrate, Fresh promoters, Mike Lane and Janine Shiota, have enlisted world famous DJ Manny Lehman to spin at the anniversary soiree.

On hand at the anniversary will be Jack Mackenroth from season 4 of Bravo’s Project Runway. Mackenroth, who has been very open about his positive HIV status since his diagnosis in 1990, left the reality show early due to health issues. He spend his life combating the stigma of HIV by living honestly and being a role model through professional and athletic achievements.

Ruby Skye is the hands down most beautiful club in San Francisco. The venue has kept its grand scale and been renovated with state of the art lighting and sound system featuring EAW speakers. The always-smiling crowd is mixed by race, age, and social type, and they're very happy to be there, providing a light vibe, and a friendly feel. Hi NRG Vocals and remixes by the worlds best DJ's will have you smiling and your hands in the air all night long.

Since opening in 2003, promoters Lane and Shiota have used the popular monthly to fundraise for many of City AIDS service nonprofits, each month donating a substantial proportion of event’s proceeds to community organizations. Some of the organizations include the AIDS/Lifecycle, AIDS Emergency Fund and TNDC.

Fresh’s 6th anniversary party, happening over President’s Day weekend, benefits the AIDS Project Los Angeles. It is also a wonderful way to rid yourself of the back-to-work blues.
