All through the months of April and May anyone can nominate candidates and vote for favorites. Votes will be tallied and 50 bachelors will be selected, one per state. From the top 50, five will be selected and flown to San Francisco for final judging. A panel of experts will decide who is America's Gay Bachelor during San Francisco's Gay Pride celebration on June 29th.

“We want to issue a challenge to all 50 states to make sure their biggest hunks get nominated. It’s a friendly competition to find the most desirable men,” said Perrine.

The contest winner will receive a romantic get-a-way trip for two, a $10,000 Private Matchmaking Package with Relationship Expert Patrick Perrine and a chance to be featured in a national publication.

The contest will launch April 2 in San Francisco at Club Fluid. The party starts at 9pm and goes until midnight. There will be music, 250+ single gay men, and a chance to register to become America's Gay Bachelor. Parties throughout the U.S. will follow in: Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, New York, Minneapolis, Dallas and Miami.
