Jai Rodriguez is an actor and musician best known as the culture guide on the Bravo network's Emmy-winning American reality television program Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. He also is co-author of the New York Times bestselling book, The Fab Five's Guide to Looking Better, Cooking Better, Dressing Better, Behaving Better, and Living Better with the other Queer Eye hosts.

What is your idea of perfect happiness? Perfect happiness would be to never have to work for money but work for fun...  That way I could travel as often as I wanted to without having my accountants yell at me.

Which historical figure do you most identify with? Jesus.  I'm told that we are a lot a like.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? I say "like," way too often.

What is your greatest extravagance? Flying first class.  I hate coach, I travel a lot so it gets pricy.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue? Hmm… Virtues are still around?

What is your favorite journey? I went on a cruise that went to Nice, Rome, Naples, Capri,  Mykanos and Crete. That was awesome.

What do you dislike most about your appearance? I don't love a whole lot about my appearance. I do like the way I fit in high-end clothing.  Ahh… the days of QE wearing Gucci everyday.

What is your greatest regret? My greatest regret is probably not buying a house by now.

What or who is the greatest love of your life? My puppies are probably my greatest love, other than entertaining.

Which talent would you most like to have? I'd love to be able to dance.  Not dance like every dance I mean like dancers.  Maybe be in a real dance show on Broadway?

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I'd wanna be a  lot more muscular, but I am working on that.  Got a trainer that’s  kicking my ass every day for an hour and a half...

What do you consider your greatest achievement? I think my greatest achievement would have to be staying grounded after the whirlwind that was QE.

If you could choose what to come back as, what would it be? Hmm...  I think I would say Coming back as an athlete or something like that. Something different.

What is your favorite occupation? I think the field of medicine is pretty amazing.

What is your most marked characteristic? I am a good listener.

What is the quality you most like in a man? Strength.

What is the quality you most like in a woman? I love how sensitive women are.

Who are your heroes in real life? The people who are politically active in the gay community.

What is it that you most dislike? I really don't like how divided and racist people still are.

How would you like to die? I’d like to die of old old old OLD age and from natural causes.

What is your motto? I'm open to suggestions

What is your least favorite word? Faggot out of a straight guys mouth.

What sound or noise do you love? I love the sound of the rain in tropical places. Best sounds to make love to...

What sound or noise do you hate? I hate the sound of a truck backing up.

What is your favorite curse word? Fuck and shit.

What profession, other than yours, would you like to attempt? I would love to get into directing.  I produced my current show Styleyes Miami, so that’s close.

What profession would you absolutely not like to participate in? Any nine-to-five job.

If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? Can I get you a drink?
