What are you most known for? First openly gay comic on HBO “Comic Relief 6”
Where did your life begin? New York City
How old were you when you moved to San Francisco? 19
What is your idea of perfect happiness? A standing ovation from my girlfriend and dog followed by a cheese and mushroom pizza and root beer.
What is your greatest fear? Richard Simmons
Which historical figure do you most identify with? Cleopatra. I’d like to be carried around town on my bed.
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? Insecurity
What is your greatest extravagance? I’ve spent thousands on my dog.
What do you consider the most overrated virtue? Modesty
What is your favorite journey? The Pirates of the Carribean ride in Disneyland.
What do you dislike most about your appearance? My cowlick gives me bad hairdays
Which words or phrases do you most overuse? You know.
What is your greatest regret? That I didn’t stay with my father after my parents got divorced.
What or who is the greatest love of your life? My girlfriend Stephanie and my dog Tabasco. It’s a package deal.
When and where were you happiest? I’m happiest here and now for the first time in my life.
Which talent would you most like to have? I’d like to play an instrument, except bagpipes and harmonica.
What is your current state of mind? Slightly stressed.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I would be more efficient.
What do you consider your greatest achievement? Opening my solo play Los Big Names Off-Broadway.
If you could choose what to come back as, what would it be? Maybe a hummingbird. I’d like to hover and drink syrup.
What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? Geez! Come on. Let’s have fun.
What is your favorite occupation? I’d like to work with Sea Otters.
What is your most marked characteristic? The gap between my teeth.
What is the quality you most like in a man? Gayness.
What is the quality you most like in a woman? Employment.
Who are your favorite writers? Sandra Cisneros, David Sedaris , Jonathan Ames and on and on.
Who is your favorite hero of fiction? The Little Prince
Who are your heroes in real life? Lily Tomlin, Paul Mooney, Dennis Kucinich,
What is it that you most dislike? Loud Noises
How would you like to die? I would like to die instantly when I’m 80 years old while I’m saving the lives of a family so I could get in the news.
What is your motto? Leave them laughing
What is your favorite word? More!
What is your least favorite word? No.
What turns you on? Legs
What turns you off? Hairy legs.
What sound or noise do you love? Applause
What sound or noise do you hate? I don’t know the exact name but I hate those 2 way phones where I have to hear both idiots talking and that chirp ughh!
What is your favorite curse word? Crap.
What profession, other than yours, would you like to attempt? I answered that in occupation question.
What profession would you absolutely not like to participate in? Anything medical.
If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? Hi Miss Gomez. I’m your biggest fan.
