Sharon McNight made her Broadway debut in 1989 in Starmites, creating the role of Diva. She received a Tony Award nomination as "Best Leading Actress in a Musical" for her performance. In San Francisco, she plays The Plush Room, Great American Music Hall, and anywhere else the check doesn't bounce.

What are you most known for? Making people laugh and cry at on sitting.
  
Where did your life begin? When I learned to sing and play music
  
What is your idea of perfect happiness? Good jokes, food & drink with friends
 
What is your greatest fear? Losing sight and mobility

Which talent would you most like to have? To write crossword puzzles
 
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? Perfectionism
 
What is your greatest extravagance? Shoes and good vodka
 
What do you consider the most overrated virtue? Piety, virginity 

What is your favorite  journey? Any trip that takes me to San Francisco 

Which words or phrases do you most overuse? Asshole, nitwit and butthead
 
What is your greatest regret? I have none
 
What or who is the greatest love of your life? Performing
 
When and where were you happiest? When I am performing
 
What is your current state of mind? Overwrought
 
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I’d be taller
 
What do you consider your greatest achievement? Quitting smoking

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? Pain. Physical pain.
