Dance-pop diva Taylor Dayne had a remarkably quick ascent to stardom in the late '80s, sailing into the Top Ten with her first single, ‘Tell It to My Heart.’ She had three more Top Ten singles from her debut album ‘Prove Your Love,’ ‘I'll Always Love You,’ and the number two ‘Don't Rush Me’. In late 2007 the single ‘Beautiful’ announced the coming of a new album titled Satisfied. Dayne headlines the Academy of Friends Gala “Shaken, Not Stirred”.

What are you most known for?
My hit single, ‘Tell it to my Heart’, and my lips. LOL

Where did your life begin?
It began in the Bronx and by 2 yrs old I was safely ensconced in Baldwin, Long Island

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Being in Love, a perfect spring day, hiking thru some incredible mountain trail, sitting listening to a wandering stream, having a wonderful dinner with great friends and family, and performing for thousands of fans.

Mae West

What is your greatest extravagance?
My children 

What is your favorite journey?
Bali and Costa Rica

What do you dislike most about your appearance?
Ughh… being short, or hard to lose the pounds
